GovCIO is currently hiring for Force Manager Assistant to supports the CJ-3 Director and is responsible for assisting the headquarters with monitoring, assessing, and managing all force requirements. This position will be based out of Doha, Qatar and supports the CENTCOM AOR.

Responsibilities

The Force Manager Assistant supports the CJ-3 Director and is responsible for assisting the headquarters with monitoring, assessing, and managing all force requirements. Duties include providing advice and assistance to facilitate the management of U.S., Joint, and Coalition Force requirements, including Combined Joint Statement of Requirements (CJSOR). Assists in managing Relief-In-Place (RIP), and redeployment activities. Supports the CJ-3 Director by assisting in the drafting of Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD), Requests for Forces (RFF), force management Operational Needs Statements (ONS), and Request for Equipment (RFE). Monitors Global Force Management actions coordinating with subordinate units, headquarters staff, and higher headquarters. Assists in the accomplishment of campaign plan-specific goals as specified by the COR

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s with 8 -12 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Possess a military background as a U.S. Army Global Force Manager having attained a Commissioned Officer rank of O4 or higher with an accumulation of a minimum of three years of Combatant Command (COCOM) level experience in the field
  • Experience with Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager
  • Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies, and other challenging situations
  • Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting U.S. Military Special Operations

Clearance Required:

  • Top Secret
