Project Sourcing Manager

Role Description:

 

·         Manage supplier market and spending for Direct and Indirect Procurement activities across various work packages in Airbus KSA

·         Support the growing Bids and Sales activities in the Procurement perimeter for Airbus Saudi Limited

·        Oversee import/export formalities and warehousing needs, certifying compliance with regulatory requirements, while enhancing data reliability, tracking KPIs, analyzing goods movement in SAP and conducting SQDCP sessions

·         Consider and implement new innovative ideas and strategies for Procurement

·         Contribute to the business bottom line with Savings against EAC in the respective projects

·         Support transversal topics for multiple Airbus entities in the country

·         Oversight of ~EUR 200m+ direct Procurement budget for one particular Platinum Security Project

·         Uphold and ensure Procurement activities in full compliance with Airbus standards and protocols

 

Key Tasks:

 

·         Carry out global market research to identify trends and potential sources, suppliers and strategies

·         Management of global supplier portfolio to garner greater understanding of supplier capabilities & refine supplier shortlisting

·         Play a leading role in supplier negotiation and contracting for Direct Procurement contracts

·         Collate & review supplier performance data via SED (Supplier Evaluation and Development) as part of Airbus processes & lead local supplier performance improvement activity with key stakeholders in the organization

·         Key focus on driving supplier performance

·         Provide local network and know how to new business for the local company and the business lines in Europe

·         Ensure full compliance to the company’s procurement policies and processes and the relationship with suppliers in order to comply with Airbus compliance requirements.

·         Analyze market conditions & drive supplier selection process.

·         Ensure preparation of contractual documents according to the customer contract (terms and conditions) and Airbus DS standard requirements.

·         As and when required, manage procurement for additional Airbus DS Projects from other business lines

·         Supervise Supply Chain Operations and Customs Liaison Officer activities to ensure delivery documentation and Legal paperwork is available for all shipments imported globally, guaranteeing timely arrival of international and domestic shipments by retaining proper communication with suppliers / agents and facilitating forwarding agents with documentation for customs clearance

·        Ensure efficient shipment and customs clearance processing in compliance with the governance set forth by KSA Zakat, Tax and customs authorities, Export Control regulations (EAR/ITAR/EU Dual Use)

·         Maximize long term benefits for Airbus DS KSA in terms of timely delivery to cost and quality

·         Act as focal point for the Procurement IT Tools and Processes and any escalations required towards SAP or Airbus IT Dept.
