Duties and Responsibilities
FINANCIAL RETURNS
- Manage the sale and promotion of departmental products and services
- Access sales and marketing data
- Assist with the development of new products and services
- Assist with the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
- Anticipate economic business level fluctuations and makes action plans
PEOPLE
- Comply with all Hotel and corporate guidelines (eg signage guidelines, safety guidelines, etc)
- Interacts with guests as well as health club members and individuals in the local community.
- Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other hotel departments as required.
- Adhere to departmental cleaning and maintenance programs
- Attend and input at management meetings as required
- Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports do the same
- Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are logged investigated and rectified to prevent future catastrophes
- Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of Conduct
- Familiarize yourself with the company values and model desired behaviors
GUEST EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including:
- Being attentive to Guests
- Accurately and promptly fulfilling Guests requests
- Anticipate Guests needs
- Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest experience
- Demonstrating a ‘service’ attitude
- Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers
- Deliver high quality service to guests
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
- Co-ordinate the maintenance of all recreational facilities and equipment
- Coordinate the delivery of all recreational guest services
- Responsible for the safety of all guest services
- Perform tasks as directed by the Manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
