Field Service Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day

 

You will be responsible for Field Service Installation Testing & Commissioning, Maintenance and Repair of Transmission and Distribution electrical products and partial systems to customers, putting products and subsystems on site into operation and conducting systematic technical tests to check subsystems functionality.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

 

• Checking the scope of delivery, visual check of condition, etc. systematic technical check by way of tests on the basis of the technical documents; technical coordination of commissioning with the customer.
• Check of the subsystem’s functionality.
• Technically perfect timely and cost-effective processing of Site Schedule while aligning with the contractual obligations.
• Supervising compliance with the stipulated documentation in line with the state of the art in accordance with specified guidelines and technical standards.
• Taking part in regular site discussions, implementation of Siemens Energy and Customer EHS guidelines.
• Supporting the Project Management team with risk and claim management by recognizing and assessing project-related risks and opportunities and if applicable working out suggestions for minimizing risks in exploiting opportunities.
• Ensuring quality on the work site including Nonconformance Reports (NCR)
• Documenting Technical (commissioning reports/delivery documents) and updating the documents.
• Briefing customer personnel and, if vital, staging training courses on the customer’s premises.
• Participating in the review and lessons learned

• Quality Knowledge in Engineering: Basic knowledge
• Project Management in Engineering: Basic knowledge
• Claim and Contract Management in Engineering: Basic knowledge
• Technical Report witing, Fact finding reporting: English language, proficient.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
