Job Purpose

Supports the Integrated Planning team in planning, costing, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, interface management and reporting of Subsurface projects and well intervention activities, generation of various detailed schedules and reports relating to development Drilling & Completion, Workovers, Recompletion and Wellwork. To implement and utilize SharePoint for Integrated Planning division, manages the access and the content published on SharePoint for Integrated Planning division page.

Key Job Accountabilities – I

  • Provide Well Planning Process (WPP) and Qatargas Project Management System (QGPMS) Subsurface input to gate deliverables.
  • Support the development of Conceptual Development Plan, which defines project scope and strategy, for Subsurface projects and prepare Gate 0 deliverables of Well Planning Process.
  • Reviews Subsurface Project Management of Change procedure to ensure that changes made to an approved project scope are properly evaluated, approved, documented and implemented.
  • Provide planning inputs to cost estimation of Subsurface capital projects
  • Support the preparation of integrated schedules and detailed rig schedules for all current and upcoming projects complying with the shareholder requirements (QG1/2, NFPS, NFE etc.) and participate in monthly schedule review meetings.

Key Job Accountabilities – II

  • Prepare monthly time breakdown (MTB) sheets and project status updates on a monthly basis
  • Support the preparation of detailed drilling/workover schedules and their integration with allied project activities and provide schedule input to Upstream Gas Production (UGP) Committee activities to facilitate development and execution of feed gas production plan.
  • Support the monitoring of Subsurface Strategic risk mitigation measures and regulatory and insurance application processes for Subsurface projects execution.
  • Provide input to presentation materials for various technical and management committees & meetings (e.g. Board, MLT, TechCom, ExCom, Shareholders, etc.) covering Subsurface project plans, status update and outlook.
  • Prepare project progress graphs and reports as required for management and other reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience – I

  • 6 years’ experience in oil & gas upstream industry, upstream capital project planning, costing, scheduling, budgeting and monitoring.
