Our client is a market leader in food distribution across the UAE.
 

We are hiring a UAE experienced sales manager to join their Northern Emirates or Abu Dhabi team.
 

 
 

The role is responsible for building and managing a sales team in Abu Dhabi to drive incremental growth in the HORECA (hotel and restaurant) sector through new client acquisition and organic growth in existing contracts.
 

 
 

Candidates must be fluent in English with a proven track record of being a “hunter” with the ability to open new doors and meet senior decision makers within the premium category of HORECA in the UAE.
 

 
 

Role Summary
 

  • Build, develop and manage a B2B field sales team – manage weekly reporting to track sales and revenue growth against sales targets.
     
  • Develop and implement a clearly defined sales plan for new and existing accounts; proactively track the performance of accounts to identify key performance drivers and implement corrective actions to deliver against sales targets.
     
  • Proactively prospect new sales opportunities and win new business by meeting with procurement and senior management decision makers in the UAE to introduce the brand and increase brand awareness.
     
  • Lead contract tenders, negotiations and pricing discussions with clients with a focus on profitable growth.
     
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop trade promotions and lead industry exhibition and trade show initiatives such as Gulfood.
     

 
 

Mandatory Skills & Experience
 

  • 8– 10 years’ UAE HORECA sales / business development experience in frozen, chilled or dry food distribution.
     
  • Proven record in driving new business revenue delivering annual sales growth through new business, key account and client relationship management within the UAE / CGG HORECA sector.
     
  • Experience of sales, business development and account management in frozen foods, poultry, protein foods is a strong advantage
     
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to grow profitable strategic accounts  and retain existing accounts through effective negotiations with senior level decision makers.
     
  • Experience of sales analysis on Power BI is an advantage.
     
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.

  • Currently living in the UAE – candidates outside of the UAE will not be considered.
     
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
     
  • Results driven and tenacious with a commercial mindset, entrepreneurial spirit and customer driven.
     
  • Well presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels in the HORECA sector.
