WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR (AUTOMOBILE)

Development, implementation, coordination and supervision of all the activities of Transport (Heavy Vehicle & Equipment’s) in all Mesaieed Operations areas and Gas distribution Station from Mesaieed to Ras Laffan such as project line up for shut down and daily allocation of heavy vehicles and equipment to user departments. To coordinate the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all vehicles and equipment with workshop and contractors and to ensure the availability, efficiency and safety operation of all heavy equipment’ and skilled operators for operational requirements. Automobile Workshops dedicated to the maintenance of all the different types of QP light and heavy Vehicles. Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in all repair and preventative maintenance of cranes, forklifts, tractor heads, trailers fire-tenders, ambulances, mobile air compressors, generators, all diesel and gasoline engine driven static equipment work covering all Mesaieed Operation Departments, as well as undertaking all necessary preparation of preventative maintenance schedules for the mentioned equipment according to operational and manufacturers requirements including preparation and procurement of all spare parts as required for all vehicles such as trucks, ambulances, forklifts, cranes. Experience & Skills Minimum of 15 years experience in maintenance and transport operations, contract administration, automotive/plant maintenance and repair work, including at least 10 years in Supervisory capacity preferably in an oil company in the Middle East. Education University Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with good command of written and spoken English.
