Accountabilities

Safety Process:

  • Monitor the implementation and execution of the safety methodologies, including ensuring that safety training is being implemented according to the approved plan, as well as train champions himself so that they could transfer knowledge to other teams.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure the implementation of the yearly safety plan and ensure the compliance with the OSAHS requirements in order to take the necessary corrective actions if required.

Safety Status:

  • Report the safety status by gathering reports from the safety coordinators about the departments’ behaviors, accidents, training programs, evacuation trials to compile and analyze them and thus provide recommendations about corrective actions.

Governmental Requirements:

  • Renew civil defense license, by liaising with the civil defense authority to acquire requirements and deal with them, as well as coordinating with them to renew and issue license.
  • Coordinate with OSAHS audit committee and accompany them as they conduct the audit, to acquire their comments and work on correcting them. As well as coordinate with insurance companies for the purpose of renewing the insurance policy in order to decrease the insurance installment.

Workplace Maintenance:

  • Permit maintenance or project related works before they are started to ensure compliance to safety requirements and minimize risks, then monitor implementation.

Emergency Plans:

  • Participate in developing evacuation and emergency plans and monitor their implementation in addition to analyzing them and reporting status in order to provide recommendations about development and improvement.

Safety Training:

  • Monitor safety-training activities to ensure it is on schedule and train coordinator to conduct training sessions to ensure the understanding of safety among the other departments.

Department Management:

  • Manage the performance of the assigned team through monitoring the KPIs achievement, coaching, following up any obstacles, provide performance feedback and conversations, coaching…etc to ensure the achievement of the set objectives.

                                    

Employee’s duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned. 

Work Environment

  • Indoors                            : 90%
  • Outdoors                         : 10%
  • Working Days                  : 5 Working Days
  • Days off                           : 2 Days Off
  • Working Hours                : 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1 hour break)

Job Requirement

Education 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Certificate in safety
Experience
  • 3 Years of experience

  • MS Office Suite
