The Warehouse and Shipping manager is responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse and the shipping areas of the plant. He will report into the Operations Manager. He will be supervising the activities of the warehouse & shipping rotational shift supervisors and working closely with production scheduling and the customer services departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure and maintain safe working environment & people complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Continuous monitoring, assessment of risks & implementing measures to mitigate those risk while adopting Koch safety vision and risk philosophy.
  • Implementation of plant guidance and procedures and consistently monitored.
  • Directly coaching and supervising shift supervisors and operators across different departments.
  • Monitor employee performance, coach and provide performance reviews as per PBM guidelines.
  • Enforces plant rules consistently, develops methods for lowering plant costs.
  • Manage daily warehouse activities, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Scheduling to optimize Warehouse space.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse stocking program.
  • Ensures loading of material in accordance Guardian Proven Practices.
  • Monitor and improve finish products appointment dates and increase Warehouse and shipping efficiency.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degrees in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Warehouse and Shipping background in a similar work environment is preferred.
  • Previous continuous manufacturing experience unit is acceptable.
