Our world-renowned client, a French electronics group specializing in aerospace, defense, security and ground transportation, is looking for a Test Technician.

Allowances/Accommodation allowance: if you do not live near the Cholet region – eligibility: distance from place of residence to place of work is greater than or equal to 50 km (outward or return journey)
In Cholet, our client designs, develops, integrates, qualifies, industrializes, produces, deploys and maintains in operational condition radiocommunications equipment and military tactical networks, electronic warfare equipment and systems as well as information system security solutions (encryption, networks, etc.). It was also in Cholet that the latter integrated, industrialized and produced the ground stations for satellite communication networks.
Required Skills:
With a Bac+2 degree or equivalent, you ideally have proven experience in the field of system production.
You have:
- Experience in the defence sector;
- Experience testing on physical equipment, computer equipment and calibration of equipment;
- Experience in metrology;
- Knowledge of how to carry out electrical and climatic tests;
- Knowledge of computers, IP networks and operation/configuration of network equipment such as switches, routers, servers;
- Knowledge of SATCOM networks, radios;
- Knowledge of SINDU and IVV Management tools;
- Fieldwork;
- Writing quality;

Within the Tactical Industrial Sector of Safety and Systems (TS2) of our client’s Industrial Department, you will join the Cholet System Industry (ISC) department.
The ISC department is responsible for carrying out industrial activities (engineering, industrialization, production, supply chain) for the supply of customers with:
- network systems;
- Satellite Communications Systems;
- Transport subsystems;
- Equipment for secure infrastructures.
Your missions:
- Participate, as required by projects, in the qualification phase of the systems;
- Support the Industrialization Manager in the drafting of test procedures;
- Conduct development and validation/verification tests to ensure the proper functioning of the Systems;
- Carry out analyses, controls and maintenance on products in operation according to project needs;
- Unwind test instructions from instructions and using measuring instruments;
- Write control reports or reports;
- Carry out self-control of achievements;
- Identify anomalies or non-conformities and, if necessary, exercise its duty to warn;
- Initiate the root cause analysis and issue initial proposals for curative, corrective and preventive actions;
- Participate, depending on the Projects, in the acceptance of constituents with our Suppliers and Partners (France and Europe);
- Participate, depending on the Projects, in Customer acceptances on the industrial site and possibly the customer site;
- Ensure traceability of operations and configuration management;
- Implement the preventive measures put in place and comply with Health, Safety and Environment rules;
- Contribute to the dissemination of the culture of continuous improvement (Lean, Industry 4.0,…);
- Support, at the business level, newcomers (processes, rules of the art,…).
