The jobs in this level are responsible for performing basic engineering tasks, such as technical work, under close supervision.

• Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Monitors the operating conditions, identifying and responding appropriately to problems, allocating or escalating them as necessary and records their rectification.

• Familiarity with the manufacturing and packaging machines ( Granulation machines , Vacuum loaders , Tableting machines , Capsulation machines , Blistering machines, Cartoning machines )
• Understating of Pharmaceuticals industries regulations ( GMP , SOP .. etc. )
• Familiarity with the mechanical system components ( Bearing , Shafts , Gears .. etc )
• Familiarity with Pneumatic system components ( Cylinders , solenoid , FRL .. etc )
• Ability to read mechanical schematic / drawings
• Ability to allocate and define the needed spare parts
• Ability to follow preventive procedure
• Ability to communicate in English
• English fluency is advantage
• SAP experience is an advantage

Qualifications and Experience

• + 3 Years working experience as a mechanical technician in a pharmaceutical factory.
• Mechanical Diploma is an Advantage
• Basic electrical knowledge is Advantage
