Assist the Sales force by providing a high-level product expertise and knowledge of the targeted product-centric application to customers. Provides technical support to the field sales force by bringing deep or specific product and application knowledge in order to help: understand customer design, configure & put Watts products in the customer specifications, convert an existing specification, and close a deal.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Quote approvals.

  • Responsible for evaluation and assets the approval/rejection of additional discounts, and special prices.
  • Responsible for supporting salespeople in negotiation to close opportunities that require additional discounts.
  • Evaluate the overall profitability of an opportunity and work with the sales team and/or the customer to close the deal.
  • Responsible to escalate for additional approval according to a standardized delegation of authority rules.
  • Ensures risk is mitigated wherever possible.
  • Secure approval for all quotes from Product Managers which are below the advised level of acceptable margin.
  • Lead discussions around Applications with customers and advise on the most suitable techno-commercial offers.
  • Make sure that Systems always updated & Coordinate with Distributors.
  • Inside Sales for selected countries.

 

Ensure Price performance.

  • Monitor and update commercial price lists and GSA pricelists as needed.
  • Validate sales quotations for accuracy and profitability.
  • Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required.
  • Support the team that negotiates discount internally(factories/OEM’s)

Reports & Product data management.

  • Ensure filling up the tracking sheet and provide monthly reports with regard to Order bookings.
  • Ensure training data are filled in an organized manner & report every month accordingly.
  • Manage the data library in both Teams & the local server.

 

 

Training

  • Prepare with the Channel management team the Partner training and product knowledge plan.
  • Provide timely sales training to keep sales updated about the products & services.
  • Keep updating yourself about the products by taking WATTS e-learnings.
  • Provide training to customers/consultants about the products & services as per the request from Sales team.
