Job Purpose
Support the integrity and quality of Information Management to ensure availability of the most recent and up to date information / documentation to internal stakeholders.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
The nature of the work is non-routine, in that each job is different and requires independent evaluation to establish the most appropriate course of action and allocation of resources.
Within a dynamic environment, with competing priorities and operating under time pressures, liaise effectively and efficiently with various parties to ensure a quality information management service with quality analysis is delivered.
Key Job Accountabilities – I
Perform and support the analysis and maintenance of engineering and vendor data / documentation, ensuring data and documentation is compliant with the latest modifications of the facilities.
Participate in the Final Document Clarification Workshops for all internal projects, providing subject matter expertise, to align understanding by all involved parties on information management requirements to meet Company’s expectations at final handover and project close-out.
Coordinate and execute the Final Information handover review audit process for all internal Projects.
Supervise the final Information handover process for all internal Projects and ensure data and documentation is available to all relevant parties within agreed parameters after handover of the facilities.
Analyse, review and verify status, relevance and currency of all data and documentation received from internal sources before uploading in the Asset Information Management System (AIMS).
Key Job Accountabilities – II
Conduct archiving, retrieval and disposal of data and documentation related to Plant Asset Information, ensuring the process is aligned with Company and Records Management requirements.
Analyse Plant Asset Information requirements through the Service Request portal and ensure that these are effectively and timely executed.
Coordinate and conduct Asset Information Management System (AIMS) training sessions for all internal customers, ensuring technical support is readily available and all queries/issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Participate in the verification of Information Management Processes and Procedures, analysing, reviewing, and recommending areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
Knowledge and/or Experience
6 years’ relevant information / document control experience with information management systems in a technical project information management environment preferably within the oil and gas industry.
In depth knowledge and skills of information management guidelines, policies, procedures, and legal restrictions to ensure effective decision-making within established industry standard.
