Technical Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing sovereign wealth fund. Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Analyst to join their IT Applications Team in Qatar and work on an ongoing project to implement SimCorp as their new Front-to-back system.

Key Experience

• 8+ years of SimCorp experience
• Knowledge of investment lifecycle topics (trade processing, settlements, SWIFT, reconciliation etc.)
• Technical IT knowledge and experience in multiple areas of SQL, XML, XSLT, system integration, batch processing, job scheduling, overnight workflows, system infrastructure, Cloud integration etc.
• Knowledge of financial instruments across all asset classes – Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Treasuries etc.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Science, Engineering, or IT
