Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Record quantity, quality, weight, and value of Container Shipping materials or products, in order to maintain records and files;
• Record and monitor the quantities of Container Shipping materials, parts, or products received or shipped;
• Record the measurement, weight, or identification labels; and attach them to Container Shipping products;
• Ensure and monitor product labels, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights;
• Examine products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages, using specification sheets, gauges, and standards charts;
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and vendors to exchange information regarding Container Shipping products, materials, and services;
• Ensure stock products or loads are meeting quality standards, and notify supervisors or appropriate departments of discrepancies or shortages;
• Group and sort products or materials for display, packing, shipping, or storage;
• Unload or unpack incoming shipments.
 

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills
Education & Professional Qualification:
Secondary School Certificate

Professional Experience: 
1 – 2 years of relevant experience in record keeping
