Systems Administrator

Softje Technology Solutions is looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. This role requires expertise in network and server management, system security, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot company IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Manage system backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Install and configure hardware and software components.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support end-users and resolve technical issues.
• Document system configurations, processes, and incidents for internal knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT management.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
