Also will be responsible for:

1. Generate reports (Provisional Review, Reorder Points, NIL Stock) to assist in the development of a procurement and forecast plan and validate demands based on the aviation maintenance plan.
2. Create part numbers, establish levels and link all approved in lieu or interchangeable parts in the approved IT system and ensure all transactions are conducted within the system provided.
3. Maintain and improve service support to the customer by ensuring materials are available for operational requirements and provide ad hoc reports as required.
4. Know the status of aircraft and ground support equipment and ensure parts are available to maintain Fully Mission Capable (FMC) aircraft and equipment.
5. Select substitute items for spares demanded and assist in reviewing technical documents (IPC, CMM, AMM, TB, SB) pertaining to part number creation.
6. Assist superiors in the adjustment of spares and material requirements; recommend and institute changes to inventory.
7. Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure TBO and scheduled maintenance parts are available to meet all missions.
8. Plan and demand POL products to arrive just in time; minimizing the amount of waste from expired products.
9. Read and understand all type of MSDS, CMM, TB, SB, COC, COO, Calibration Certificates and O/H Report of incoming items from suppliers.
10. Follow up with Suppliers for items’ discrepancies / damage and documentations that requires correction.
11. Ensure Import & Export of ITAR Items for shipping and receiving are in compliance with ITAR Regulations.
12. Interact with the approved Supplier in regards to contracts, (RFQ) Request for Quotation and expediting delivery of supplies.
13. Responsible to ensure good communication is maintained with the End User and the Supplier providing the required parts.
14. Support the transfer request of parts with other material planners in the most efficient manner.
15. Validate the requisition status for all deferred parts during log book recons.
16. Follow up with Suppliers for items’ discrepancies / damage and documentations that requires correction.

QUALIFICATION

 

 - High School Diploma Must have attended some type of organized formal training in logistic operation.
– Certifications and practical experience or High School Diploma with more than years of logistics experience.
– Preferred BA/BS / MS (in Aviation Technology Field preferred) Education can be substituted for experience.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

 - Minimum of 5 Years Experience in Logistics and or maintenance operations.
– Quality Control experiences a plus.
– Work experience as a material planner & Technical Follow-Up / repair in aviation operation is preferred.
– Aviation maintenance and technical supply operations experience is a plus.
