Supervisor – ASE Workshop

Also will be responsible for:

1.Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing maintenance on aircraft armament equipment.
2. Evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.
3. Ensures subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751 and related publications.
4. Performs maintenance trend analysis and applies production control, quality control, and other maintenance management principles to aircraft armament maintenance and shop operations.
5. Instructs personnel and conducts technical training on aircraft armament maintenance, supply and safety techniques.
6. Evaluates the technical training program on host nation personnel.
7. Serves as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock and supply requisitions.
8. Maintains accountability for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.
9. Keeps a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.
10. Responsible for all safety matters of personnel and equipment assigned to the Armament Workshop.
11. Responsible for oversight, guidance and counseling of all personnel assigned to them.
12. Responsible for enhancement Shop’s capabilities.

QUALIFICATION

 - High School Completion of a formal Armament training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
– Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).

EXPERIENCE

 - Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with aircraft armament systems.
– Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
– Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, hardware and equipment used in the maintenance of aircraft armament systems. Must have a minimum of five years working with aircraft aircraft armament weapon systems. See Sensative Information-Experience tab below for specific aircraft platformss
