Student Services
- Provide high quality initial information and guidance to students and visitors regarding the college.
- Contribute to the running of the student application and acceptance process, processing student applications, implementing and maintain appropriate systems and procedures and maintaining student admissions records under the direction of the Admission/Registration Officer.
- Assist in the development and implementation of orientation programs to ensure all students are familiarized with the college’s programs, culture, policies, resources, and academic expectations, fostering a smooth integration into the educational environment.
- Manage students’ academic administration requirements in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders, including students’ ID, parking, etc.
- Assist in organizing student admissions interviews, inviting students, arranging venues, producing appropriate paperwork and records.
- Under the direction of the Admission/Registration Officer, produce a range of correspondence to be sent to students in a range of formats.
- Assist staff, faculty and students with Student Services-related queries.
Receptionist
- Address daily inquiries from students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
- Greet and assist school visitors, ensuring proper sign-in and notification to the relevant staff member; maintain a visitor diary.
- Coordinate meetings by reserving rooms through the booking system and arranging refreshments when required.
- Handle incoming calls, efficiently distributing messages to the appropriate recipients.
- Manage the reception mailbox, evaluating inquiries, directing them to the relevant departments, or responding appropriately.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Related Assignments
- Undertake other duties as directed and when requested, which may include supporting in other areas of administration across the college department.
Qualifications and Experience
Recommended Qualifications and Years of Experience
- High school degree or diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration or any other related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in front desk is preferred, and using Microsoft Office applications is a must
