MISSIONS:

  •  Building and maintaining a network of industry partners, public authorities, government (local, national & international) and key decision who will help facilitate the successful build of the major rail project.
  • Maintaining communication with external stakeholders and peers to remain knowledgeable about current industry precedents and practices and to look for ways to work cooperatively towards common goals.
  • Ensuring technical transparency between authorities on matters which will have a direct affect on the development of national public transportation policies
  • Playing a key role in effectively resolving the critical physical interface issues between the line infrastructure and existing utilities by facilitating effective working relationships between subconsultant, telecom operators, etc…
  • Working closely with key Traffic Stakeholders to ensure successful traffic coordination.
  • Maintaining knowledge of acquisition processes and timelines, and assist the client in ensuring timely and efficient surface land acquisitions and access.
  • Monitoring current and emerging stakeholder issues and trends, legal precedents and changes in the regulatory environment (political, social, environmental and industrial) that may affect the project strategy.
  • Working the client to enhance the project’s image and to ensure successful community engagement through the encouragement of civil pride despite the initial adjustments and impact to the general public’s daily lives.

 

 

PROFILE:

  • Senior Professional shall have a technical / engineering related university degree
  • Minimum (10) years’ experience in the required field of expertise for similar projects.
  • Prior senior stakeholder engagement on a large scale project with multiple internal & external stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively develop an argument, persuade an audience and partner at a senior level.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing others & taking the lead on a project of reasonable size or a number of smaller projects
  • Strategic thinker and an innovator
  • Proven experience working to tight deadlines within a changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent judgment, assertiveness, and diplomatic skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing conflict in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience within either a government entity or on a large scale project.
