Looking for a strategic, intelligent, influential, and forward-thinking candidate whose sole directive will be to drive incremental business growth in RLIC (Ras Laffan Industrial City), Qatar for Emerson, Final Control – Pressure Management Business Unit (PRM). Responsibility includes providing customer support, achieving business budgets, driving strategic programs, and developing new business opportunities. You will develop situational fluency, define the best strategies, and own the responsibility to meet or exceed the order booking targets, demonstrating Emerson – PRM portfolio of products, services, and solutions.

This position will be based in Doha, Qatar and will single contributor job!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  1. Responsible for delivering the assigned order booking budget.
  2. Implement Emerson and Business Unit (BU) strategic and tactical plans,
  3. Business Development and establish Emerson as the Supplier of Choice.
  4. Evaluate and prioritize RFQs and coordinate with the Inside Sales and Application Engg team to submit accurate and technically sound quotes,
  5. Negotiate acceptable T&Cs and book clean orders. Top-line order booking, hit rate and win rate will be used as the criteria to measure the efficiency of the role.
  6. Travelling to meet customers is a key responsibility to develop relationships, influence decision making and to promote Emerson.
  7. Mapping customer installed base (IB) and creating/updating site plan is a key and routine part of the job.
  8. Engage early in customer turnarounds/shutdowns.
  9. Engage with customers for cataloguing, ensuring spare part recommendations for projects (by providing Sapre Parts Interchangeability Record), modifications and operations.
  10. Establish and update Long Term Parts Agreements (LTPA).
  11. Support end users to plan, develop and complete obsolescence programs.
  12. Secure service business for Emerson as an OEM Life Cycle service Provider. Establish long-term spare parts and service agreements (LTSA).
  13. Financial Requirements: Will have the ownership of annual entity order booking and reporting, reviewed on a monthly basis, and commitment reported every quarter.

Who you are?

  • Knowledge of Industrial and Natural Gas Regulators, Pressure Relief Valves, and process industry
  • Ability to speak Arabic will be an added advantage.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • 4 Years bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical, etc)
  • 5-10 Years’ experience selling experience with Oil & Gas and diverse industries.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Valid GCC driving license.
  • Must be fluent in English (Read, right and communicate)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Power Bi.
