ENOWA plans to utilize various technologies, including large-scale solar PV, wind power, pump hydro-station, geothermal energy, and clean-fuel gas turbines – as an integrated decentralized solution to meet the increased electricity demands due to a high degree of electrification. 

The candidate will work on projects involving these technologies and various execution strategies, with construction starting in August 2024 and continuing through 2030.

Expectations:

The HCIS Security Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) regulations at the project site. This position involves managing security operations, overseeing safety protocols, and coordinating with local regulatory bodies to maintain strict security and safety standards. The role requires deep knowledge of industrial security guidelines, strong project management skills, and effective communication with governmental agencies.

Approach (Roles & Responsibilities):

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures in alignment with HCIS requirements.
  • Manage site security personnel and oversee the deployment of security technologies and systems.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance site security measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to project staff on security best practices and emergency response procedures.
  • Manage documentation and reporting of security incidents and compliance issues to HCIS.
  • Liaise with HCIS officials to ensure continuous compliance and address regulatory changes.
  • Develop emergency response strategies and conduct regular drills to test preparedness.
  • Prepare regular reports on security status for project management and HCIS.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Strict adherence to HCIS regulations with comprehensive security policies in place.

  • Timely and accurate reporting of security incidents and compliance issues.

Experience and Skills:

  • Degree in Security Management, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), or a related field.
  • Certifications in security management or emergency response are highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in industrial security management, with specific experience in HCIS-compliant facilities or projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HCIS regulations and industrial security practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive security plans.
  • Strong communication and liaison skills, especially with governmental bodies.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations and make quick decisions.
