Specialist, Geologist – ENOWA

ENOWA aims to establish itself as the world’s most advanced renewable energy hub and the first large-scale fully renewable energy system. The energy sector’s primary goals include:

ENOWA plans to utilize various technologies, including large-scale solar PV, wind power, pump hydro-station, geothermal energy, and clean-fuel gas turbines – as an integrated decentralized solution to meet the increased electricity demands due to a high degree of electrification. 

The candidate will work on projects involving these technologies and various execution strategies, with construction starting in August 2024 and continuing through 2030.

Expectations

The Junior Geologist/DSV will provide geological support for drilling operations by analysing and interpreting geological data. This role will ensure accurate data collection, support decision-making processes, and contribute to the success of drilling projects.

Approach

• Collect and analyse geological samples and data.
• Conduct site surveys and logging activities.
• Interpret geological data and prepare reports.
• Provide recommendations based on geological findings.
• Support drilling operations with geological expertise.
• Coordinate with the drilling team and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Promote safe working practices and procedures.

Experience and Skills

• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in geological software and tools is an advantage.
