JOB SUMMARY

  • Inventory of incoming equipment. Identify and update the shortages of parts/equipment.
  • Disassembly of Equipment
  • Preparation of Assembly Data Sheet and work pack update.
  • Inspection.
  • Preparing for NDT and Phosphating
  • Identify the new replacement parts and update them in ADS or MER (Material Equipment Records)
  • Assembly of the equipment with visually checked /qualified and functionally checked before the Pressure test.
  • Travelling to Customer site for service when failure occurs.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Final preparation for the customer / NOV rental equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take the lead on the customer/rental equipment for service / recertify.
  • To be familiar with NOV Products and fully conversant with their fault finding, disassembly, and assembly.
  • Well-versed in technical aspects of field projects including machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to handle the software/ hardware issues of the equipment.
  • Work promptly.
  • Maintain good communication with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Visually / dimensionally inspect the equipment/parts before assembly and prepare the inspection/service report in a time frame.
  • Keep all service reports in the service folder with rejected parts pictures or evidence.
  • To do the work /service independently on wireline, slick line, control panel, and coil tubing PCE.

Capable of analysing large amounts of data and visually presenting them with the appropriate level of detail. Excellent command of verbal dialogue, translating complex issues in a straightforward and effective manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple topics and projects at the same time Physically fit to move around the facility. 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential

  • Secondary School Certificate / Technical training /Technical Diploma.
  • Undergone training with hands-on experience in Coil Tubing PCE, Wireline /Slickline PCE / Control Products.
  • 10K Pressure school / Coil tubing PCE Service qualified from NOV.
  • Minimum 10-12 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry equipment Servicing/maintenance of different types of Mechanical or Pressure Control Equipment both offshore and onshore.
  • Good Performer, Quick learner, knowledge of mechanical or Electrical tools and jobs
