Job Purpose

Supervises and controls the Company’s recruiting process, ensuring corporate standards in providing all levels of qualified personnel required for efficient operations. Markets the Company’s Employee Value Proposition to attract, select and obtain competent required interested parties.  

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

Challenges lie in facilitating various stakeholder needs, whilst encouraging ongoing progression of the recruitment process and maintaining Company standards within a multicultural, multinational environment.

Undertaking and completing on multi-dimensional analytical tasks within narrow time periods and providing and facilitating solutions for all stakeholders involved.

Acts as a source of guidance on specific technical sourcing approaches.

Understanding and keeping informed on the legal implications of the recruitment process on a global scale, and reaching the best outcome for all parties involved.

Key Job Accountabilities

Determine and execute sourcing approaches with global reach aligned to Sourcing framework and contributes to frequent evaluation of these approaches.

Screen, qualifiy to short list applicants utilising key defined role requirements in discussion with internal stakeholders. Selection interviews based on competence methodology and coach’s client interview panels in company standard tools and techniques.

Negotiate and facilitate key stakeholders during offer management activities and prepares appropriate offers of employment for direct hire candidates. 

Lead New Joiner HR Inductions, progressing employment formalities including Employment Contracts, Confidentiality Agreements, Welcome Packs and required HR policy formalities.

Contribute to setting divisional performance targets and monitoring and evaluating these and provide input in to the information management requirements and analyses the division’s data on recruiting activities, including compilation of key reports, presentations, theming and providing recommendations.

Key Job Accountabilities

Contribute to technical system innovations through project lifecycle and research and contribute to the implementation and / or integration of new systems where applicable.

Drive, execute and embed business controls in accordance with role responsibilities, resolving issues by utilising precedent and initiative in more demanding, less familiar situations. Contribute to the review of existing processes concerning process maps, procedures and guidelines. 

Prepare regular reports for management and line departments detailing recruitment progress against approved manpower plans.

Execute the Secondee nomination approach to the shareholders and maintain the nominations. Prepares regular reports for management and line departments detailing recruitment progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Human Resources Management.

Knowledge and/or Experience

8 years’ experience in Human Resources inclusive of at least 5 years’ experience in recruitment and previous supervisory experience.
