To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.

 

Your main duties will be to: –

 

  • Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction /installation activities on site.
  • Issues the relevant Quality Records and, verifying conformity of the work to specified Quality Requirements and ensuring that the inspections and controls are carried out and documented when necessary issue nonconformances reports.
  • Surveillance of welding parameters and consumables during installation/construction activities, supervising welding operations
  • Review welding procedures and welders qualifications to ensure correct and approved procedure are being used.
  • Checks the availability and suitability of the filler material and of the preheating, welding, heat treatment, the bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders and taking any corrective actions, the heat treatment record diagrams.
  • Performs Pipes line up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are to the correct specification and that the material is in accordance with the specified Material Traceability requirements.
  • Carry out visual inspections.
  • Perform inspection for dimensional compliance to the drawings.
  • Monitors welding repairs
    Accept / approve Non-Destructive Test-NDT inspection reports and perform radiographic film reviews.
    –        Checks readiness of NDT equipment.
    –        Ensure that all Welding, Heat Treatment, any hardness testing, Inspection and Non-destructive testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications.
    -Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package and reflect the ‘As Built’.
    – Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan by CONTRACTOR where applicable.
    – Examine visually work in progress and effectively supervises repair procedures.
    – Reviews welding requirements for field erected structures, vessels, tanks, boilers and other process plants

     

 

 

 

Profile

 

Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.

Background of E&I works installation. 

You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
