Your Opportunity

Stantec’s Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is looking for a result oriented and dynamic and results-driven Senior Program and Data Analyst to work closely with our client in a transformation journey for their Operation and Maintenance Departments with a specific focus on analyzing and interpreting complex data sets .

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Stantec Team in delivering transformational work as part of our Management Consulting Group in Qatar, supporting and advising our client in the development of various programs and services from inception to implementation. The candidate for this position will be working from our client’s office, which is a client-facing position to provide management consulting services to our client. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

•\tDetermining program requirements and making recommendations.

•\tAnalyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these.

•\tDrafting new or revised policies and procedures.

•\tAssisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.

•\tAssessing and advising on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance.

•\tAdvising program managers with regard to planning, testing, and implementing new programs or systems.

•\tIdentifying and resolving issues and problems.

•\tPlanning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.

•\tPreparing and presenting reports and recommendations.

•\tIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

•\tInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

•\tDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, that optimize efficiency and quality

•\tAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources to update and maintain databases

•\tCollaborate with stakeholders and understand the requirements to develop key performance indicators and translate it into formulas in MS Excel

•\tDevelop MS Excel based tools to improve workflow

•\tFilter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems

•\tWork with management to prioritize business information needs

•\tGenerate financial models for Spend/ Revenue/Savings Forecasting

•\tProduce presentations, circulars, and other marketing material to promote achievements of the business

•\tProvide guidance and coach team members in data analytics

•\tPresent and convince stakeholders of the analysis conducted

•\tCreate project schedules and update them

•\tCreate proposals for data analysis improvements

Qualifications:

Your Qualifications and Credentials

•\tBachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field (from a Western Country would be preferred)

•\t15+ years of experience as a Program Analyst, Management Analyst, or in a similar role.

•\tExcellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.

•\tStrong organizational and time management skills.

•\tAdvanced computer skills and knowledge of multiple databases and software systems.

•\tAbility to collect and analyze complex sets of data.

•\tGood critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

•\tStrong project management skills.

Your Key Experience

•\tAnalyzing large data sets

•\tCreating reports in MS Excel and presenting them to stakeholders (Mandatory)

•\tCoding in visual basic to create and amend MACROS (Mandatory)

•\tUse of any other programming languages such as Python or R will be advantageous

•\tAdvance user of Microsoft Office software Suite

•\tCapturing and amending process flow diagrams

•\tCreating workflow automation

•\tGenerating insights with visual representation

•\tDeveloped dashboards using various tools (either Power Bi, Tableau etc)

•\tUse of statistics and statistical analysis tools

•\tAutomating routine data analysis functions

•\tUse of Microsoft SharePoint and creating InfoPath forms

•\tExperience in neural networks or machine learning will be advantageous
