As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will assist in managing all passenger Ground Services, Freighter Ramp and Warehouse procurement requirements in a given, or group of, product categories, comprising of all goods, services and works required from the relevant stakeholders, helping to set category strategy, interfacing with internal customers and suppliers to ensure best value for the company which is in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Assist with procurement and GHA selection process planning, analysis and management with experience of passenger Ground Services and Cargo Warehousing
- Jointly responsible for high cost savings targets with stakeholders
- Negotiation planning and execution with suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms.
- Responsible for planning of passenger ground services and cargo ramp and warehousing procurement activities together with the Senior Management.
- Provides strategic analysis to assist in category strategy definition and a planned high value result for QR.
- Responsible for RFQ management and administration for high value and risk projects, running process, troubleshooting and interfacing with all relevant parties.
- Assist with market research to source alternate supply sources.
- Interface with internal user departments, including senior management, and suppliers of Ground Services, Freighter Ramp and Warehouse procurement projects.
- Assisting in setting and achieving of Procurement KPIs for the category to strive to targets and provide competitive advantage.
Qualifications
About you
You will possess:
Essential
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of job-related experience preferred
- Procurement related vocational qualification and/or educational credits such as CIPS/CPSM desirable
Preferred
- Procurement or related experience in airline industry.
