Specializing in transmission, renewable energy, and water treatment, they operate in the UAE, Qatar, Libya, and across Africa, they’re in search of an HR Specialist to join their team.

Job Title: Senior HR Specialist

Scope: We are seeking an HR Specialist you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of HR practices.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Candidate Engagement:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and training programs to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Utilize various channels to source and attract qualified candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.

Personnel & Payroll:

  • Assist with personnel administration, including maintaining employee records and handling HR documentation.
  • Support payroll processing activities by providing necessary information and ensuring accuracy.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss recruitment progress and challenges.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Generate recruitment reports and analyze data to support decision-making and improve recruitment processes.

Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Good knowledge of labor law roles.
  • Previous experience in oil & gas, renewable energy, or any related field.
  • +5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Working Hours: 9-5 (Sun-Thursday)
