The HR Senior Officer will play a significant role in ensuring the seamless execution of HR operations within the organization. This role demands extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge in various HR functions, coupled with a deep understanding of company procedures, policies, and labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding administrative skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to engage with staff at all levels optimally.

Key attributes for this role include being highly observant, proactive, and capable of working autonomously to own the end-to-end HR processes efficiently. This role is also responsible for planning and leading HR projects and initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic goals. This position requires a forward-thinking individual who can give significantly to the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries/requests and help to employees on all levels.
  • Provision of support and advice to staff and managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, grievance, and investigation.
  • Identify and address population’s requirements regarding performance matters, training, and career growth.
  • Run HR government portals (Mudad/Qiwa/GOSI/wage protection/…).
  • Run key HR processes such as promotions, salary reviews, and merit cycles.
  • Overlook and revise payroll in collaboration with Finance and Payroll Teams.
  • Support in the continuous improvement of the HR policies, practices, procedures, and implement labor law updates.
  • Handel the medical Insurance renewal process.
  • Handle the new starters and leavers processes.
  • Perform orientations and HR presentations and inductions.
  • Responsible for the official HR communications.
  • Lead employees’ relocations and transfers from and to the region and provide direction and support.
  • Plan and lead HR projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on key HR metrics and assess HR trends (Attrition/ Nationalization/ Diversity/ …)
  • Track region’s training performance.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Design and facilitate in-house events (e.g. workshops, away days) as required.
  • Supervise and support in HR related matters for Emerson Bahrain Office


Who you are?

  • Numeracy and ability to analyses quantitative and qualitative data. (Excel Knowledge)

For this Role, You Will Need:


  • Bachelor’s in human resources degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in labor law.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Basic level of coaching/mentoring skills.
