ENOWA aims to establish itself as the world’s most advanced renewable energy hub and the first large-scale fully renewable energy system. The energy sector’s primary goals include:

ENOWA plans to utilize various technologies, including large-scale solar PV, wind power, pump hydro-station, geothermal energy, and clean-fuel gas turbines – as an integrated decentralized solution to meet the increased electricity demands due to a high degree of electrification.
The candidate will work on projects involving these technologies and various execution strategies, with construction starting in August 2024 and continuing through 2030.

Expectations:
The Startup/O&M Integration Engineer is responsible for overseeing the smooth and timely transition of projects from construction to operational phases. This role focuses on integrating startup sequences, conducting performance tests, and ensuring operations teams are fully prepared to manage and maintain new installations effectively.
Approach (Roles & Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute integration plans for new systems and equipment into existing operations.
- Coordinate startup activities with project managers and engineers to align with overall project timelines.
- Oversee startup processes, including system testing, validation, and performance assessments.
- Facilitate the handover from construction to operations, ensuring all systems meet project specifications.
- Train operations teams on new equipment and processes.
- Troubleshoot initial operational issues and ensure stable system performance.
- Document startup procedures and outcomes, providing detailed reports to project stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with startup and integration activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements throughout the startup phase.
- Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve integration challenges.

Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in a field related to the project’s primary technology (e.g., Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
- Project management or systems integration certifications are highly regarded.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering, with significant involvement in startup and commissioning activities, ideally within the energy sector.
- Extensive knowledge of plant startup procedures and system integration.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to train and guide teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring tools.
