We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways UK&I Cargo Team as a Senior Cargo Sales Executive based in London Heathrow.
As we continue on our journey of expansion and growth in the UK market, we are thrilled to introduce this brand-new role. This new position will offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to plan, direct, and control the selling and marketing activities for Qatar Airways Cargo across the UK. This is a highly varied role covering a wide scope of responsibilities, with the freedom to work independently and take ownership of this dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize Qatar Airways’ presence in the market.
- Focus on customer engagement with regular offsite meetings with current and new clients
- Identify and prospect new customers through market research and outreach
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Negotiate pricing initiatives which are consistent with revenue goals and pricing guidelines.
- Maximize yields and revenue following Qatar Airways strategy and commercial plan when selling available capacity and products.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and handling partners to ensure the smooth handling and delivery of cargo.
- Analyze internal and external data sources to evaluate current performance, market position, opportunities, and development areas, to identify appropriate actions.
- Promote Qatar Airways Cargo products and support their development, maintaining a high standard of service to customers
- Support with tenders, quoting, and reservations, in line with commercial requirements
- Promote online distribution with a particular focus on driving share of consignments booked through online platforms
- Plan and maintain regular sales activities through the CRM tool.
- Provide timely, accurate, and relevant sales insights, reports, and forecasts.

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong understanding of the air cargo or the freight forwarding industry,
- Proven track record in cargo sales, with at least 3 years of experience in a sales / account management environment
- Strong commercial acumen, and ability to analyze data to drive commercial results
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills
- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, solutions oriented, and a self-starter.
- Customer-centric mindset and exceptional relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, driving license required.
