Looking for a strategic, resourceful, influential, and forward-thinking person whose sole mandate will be to drive incremental business growth in UAE & Oman countries for Emerson, Final Control – Pressure Management Business Unit (PRM). Responsibility includes achieving business budgets, providing customer support, reviving strategic programs, and developing new business opportunities. The chosen candidate will develop situational fluency, define winning strategies, and be responsible for the responsibility to meet or exceed the order booking demonstrating a raging Emerson-PRM portfolio of products, services, and solutions.

This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Business Development and establish Emerson as the Supplier of Choice.
  • Evaluate and prioritize RFQs and coordinate with the Inside Sales and Application team to submit accurate and technically sound quotes.
  • Negotiate acceptable T&Cs and book clean orders. Top-line order booking, hit rate and win rate will be used as the criteria to measure the efficiency of the role.
  • Travelling and meeting customers to develop relationship, influence decision making and promote value selling of Emerson products and services.
  • Required to cover customer sites to provide required products, solutions, and services.
  • Mapping customer installed base (IB) and creating/updating site plan is a key and routine part of the job.
  • Engage early in customer turnarounds/shutdowns.
  • Engage with customer for cataloging, ensuring spare part recommendations for projects (by providing Spare Parts Interchangeability Record), modifications and operations.
  • Engage deeply with end users to upgrade Emerson product/ technology, replace obsolete products, and displace competitor products to improve plant reliability and safety.
  • Secure service business for Emerson as an OEM Life Cycle service Provider. Establish long term spare parts and service agreements (LTSA).
  • Internal Requirements: Participate in PRM budgeting process & monthly POR (Presidents Operations Report) call, as needed.
  • Attend and present in internal meetings and training, that includes BU, FCTL & Emerson MEA events.
  • Own the internal data and reporting requirements, create the funnel in CRM (Customer Relationship Management tool), and communicate pivotal initiatives. Coordinate to publish success stories through internal portals.

Who you are?

  • Someone with multi-linguistic skills will have an advantage. Proficiency in English is a must and Arabic speaking will be an advantage.
  • This role involves extensive travel for customer visits and 60-70% of the time should be spent for customer meetings and presentations.
  • A source with selling experience of similar or daring Emerson technology, products and solutions will be preferred.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and growing territory above market growth.

For this Role, You Will Need:

A minimum of 8 – 10 years in direct selling, leading large NOC/IOCs/Strategic Accounts.

Confirmed experience handling Hydrocarbon, Mining, Chemical, and Power industries.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of Industrial and Natural Gas Regulators, Pressure Relief Valves, Pressure Reduction Skid and Process industry.
