Job includes 3 components:

  • Local sales support (main focus at the beginning)
  • Local project management support (main focus at the beginning)
  • Local purchasing (to be developed)

 

Local sales support:

  • local contact for customers, prospects and engineering companies
  • customer contact and caring for the customer relationship.
  • reception and first review of inquiries
  • participation in technical and commercial clarification meetings as well as contract negotiations
  • take part in strategy definition for projects.
  • quote follow-up.
  • add knowledge about local requirements and regulations.
  • inquiries to local suppliers
  • market and competitors’ analysis
  • Reporting and cooperating to/with team lead in CES/MPS

 

Local project management support:

  • Analyze and execute detailed project specification regarding technical, quality and commercial requirement from the customers.
  • Technical clarification with customers and local vendors based on Coperion and contract specifications / Project requirements and applicable specifications.
  • Techno-commercial evaluation of docs from vendor
  • Co-ordination and support during site erection and start-up
  • logistics support, e.g. for customs clearance, expediting of late deliveries and short supply items.
  • Reporting to PM and PME at CST/CWG

 

Local purchasing

  • Support of Local Sourcing so that local content/in-country-value requirements of projects are met and/or Coperion’s competitive position is improved.
  • Support in Managing of local supply chain.
  • Technical clarification with sub vendors based on project requirements and applicable specifications.
  • Order expediting.
  • Co-ordination of inspections and testing based on applicable ITP.
  • check of vendor activities regarding local requirements / monitoring
  • acceptance test reporting, support and facilitate logistics and customs clearance, organize local parts supply, visit and communicate with end users and engineering companies during project execution,

 

General:

  • Respond to customers’ opinion, feedback actively and develop strong customer relationship by visiting and communicating with end users and engineering/contracting companies during project execution.
