Exceptional solutions require exceptional people. We are looking for a Retail Key Account Manager based in Muscat, Oman. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic plans to grow sales, strengthen brand awareness, and build lasting partnerships with key retail accounts.
This is how you WOW:
- Develop and implement annual business plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals in line with the Regional Retail strategy.
- Negotiate and finalize annual contracts with key retail partners, ensuring timely fulfillment of agreed-upon goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for Karcher partners, addressing their needs and challenges.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and propose strategies for growth and expansion.
- Lead best practices in merchandising and implement strategies to increase Kärcher product visibility and sales.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure outlets are up to company standards as per the retail strategy and recommend areas of improvement.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with retail partners to enhance Kärcher’s brand value and market presence.
- Motivate, train, and develop a team of sales promoters, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to achieve exceptional results.
- Set sales targets and track promoters’ performance based on individual store potential and overall market trends.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.
- Identify training needs of promoters and deliver regular product trainings.
- Gather and share market intelligence and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Generate comprehensive reports on brand management strategies and merchandising performance for management review.
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives
- Proactive and customer-centric approach with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for building strong relationships and understanding client needs.
- Fluent in English verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Valid Omani driving license
