A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Ensure that every guest is satisfied and that the quality of the guest experience is high.
  • In the absence of a manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
  • Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in logbook for further follow up
  • Supervise cash handling and banking procedures
  • Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports
  • Establish and instruct colleagues in cash security procedures
  • Deal with irregular payments
  • Supervise the maintenance of service equipment
  • Monitor standards of guest facilities and services
  • Control stock and monitor security procedures
  • Supervise functions
  • Supervise outlet service
  • Make sure all team members are trained and follow our standards and SOPs.
  • Upsell whenever possible when taking the order.

What we need from you

  • One year in a Food and Beverage Supervisory position ideally in a 5 star hotel
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Great communication skills
  • Highly organized and autonomous, you are acknowledged for your guest service orientation, your reactivity and your capacity to anticipate guests’ needs.
  • Ability to work in a team and in different functions
  • Warm and inviting personality
  • Ability to think calmly under pressure
  • Knowledge of Micros and good computer skills are a plus.
