We seek a motivated Graduate Research Associate to join our team working on innovative projects
focused on indoor navigation for individuals with visual impairments using computer vision and deep
learning approaches. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of the research,
including developing privacy-preserving indoor localization solutions, prototyping wearable
multi-sensor devices, and creating multi-modal datasets for indoor trajectory prediction. This is
an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research while gaining hands-on experience
in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:
– Assist in developing privacy-preserving indoor localization solutions using multi-modal deep
learning techniques.
– Participate in designing and developing wearable multi-sensor devices for indoor navigation,
including IMUs, thermal sensor arrays, and radar sensors.
– Contribute to creating a comprehensive multi-modal dataset for indoor trajectory prediction,
including data collection and annotation.
– Collaborate with team members and external partners to meet project objectives.
– Assist in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting of research findings.

Required Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
– Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and C/C++.
