Regulatory Reporting and Change Business Analyst (Qatari Nationals Only)

The role holder will be responsible for managing the reporting and coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to gather necessary data and execute against the regulators request .

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate for timely completion of the assigned Regulatory Reporting’s and Submissions.

• Ensure relevance of data and regular review of the assigned returns.

• Ensure delivery of the assigned ad-hoc reports and requests within agreed timescales.

• Analyse the regulatory requirements in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.

• Investigate the defects related to regulatory returns and ensure on corrective changes.

• Coordinate with the stakeholders and ensure necessary remediation for the automated regulatory return owned by the business is completed. Track issues through to conclusion

• Act as a coordinator for the regulatory change request assigned to the Business.

• Ensure compliance to the Governance Framework and Group standards and policies.

• Assist in audit processes related to the assigned reported data, providing necessary information, and answering queries as required by the Risk Steward and Risk Owner.

• Preparation of high-level summary of the assigned regulatory developments and share it with the business on a periodic basis.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, related field

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) to build and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups.

• Excellent analytical skills

• Ability to generate extract and create reports.

• Knowledge of regulatory environment in Qatar.

• Exposure to an operations and a control environment, such as audit or compliance preferred.

• Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.

• A keen eye for detail, together with strong administrative and organisational skills

• The job holder must always act on and enforce the highest possible standard and principles across HSBC.
