Quantity Surveyor (Civil \u0026 Infrastructure)

What are you going to do

• Act on behalf of with commensurate responsibility for all Cost Engineering, Budgeting & Invoicing related matters pertaining to projects executed by the Engineering Department(s) under PEPS Directorate.• Determine applicable rates and applicable estimation strategy, Preliminary & General matters and mark-up to be used for cost estimates

• Endorse / reject Contractor invoices and Contractor’s submission for TDR / Claim based on cost evaluation / assessment.• Verify and endorse Bills of Quantities and Man-Hour requirements prepared by Engineering Consultants and condition it to incorporate with the EPIC/Construction Tenders/ Contracts.

• Physical verification and endorsement of re-measurable works of EPIC/Construction Contractors

Essential skills and knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Degree in an Engineering Discipline.• A minimum 12 years experience in multi discipline Quantity Survey specially for Infrastructure and civil projects. Working experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry will be preferred.

• Practical experience in Tenders, administration of measurable Contracts, B.O.Q preparation and Estimation are required. Should have exposure to SAP & MS Office applications.• Good time management and organizational skills.

• A high degree of literacy in the English language (written and spoken) Ability to work under pressure and tight time constraints.
