Quality Supervisor

The right control valve selection is based on an understanding of the industry, process and application it will be used in. Their role is to ensure accurate, repeatable and reliable long-lasting flow control performance. We at Valmet understand the conditions under which industrial valves must perform, and help our customers select the right valve for the job.

 

We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will focus on managing quality management system and on a wide array of quality assurance and quality control topics, in a manufacturing environment. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders, act as a quality expert ensuring the compliance to quality management system requirements and represent Dammam manufacturing plant quality in a Global scale.

 

In detail, your activities include:

• Responsible for quality management system and development.
• Responsible for calibration system.
• Host and carry out audits.
• Supervise local quality team.
• Manage and implement Global & local quality procedures and documents and Quality management system tools.
• Build-up, improve and maintain Quality metrics.
• Planning of special testing.
• Data analysis and corrective & preventive action planning from Quality reports and other statistics.
• Supplier Quality management.
• Manage non-conformance reporting to Customer in co-operation with Service and Sales.
• Maintain root cause analysis process and request corrective action planning from responsible departments.
• Conduct Quality training.

 

 

What you will need to be successful in the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.
• Experience in quality management systems (ISO9001 and API systems).
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments and Supply chain management.
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance processes and know-how of Quality Control methods.
• Good command of English.
• Good communication and adaptability skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
