Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Management Systems Development: • Design, develop, implement, and maintain Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental management systems adhering to International Standards (ISO, BS, EN) across Ship Management, Diving Operations, ROV Operations, Geophysical Surveys, subsea services, and offshore EPIC projects. 2. IMS Documentation Oversight: • Develop and maintain IMS Manuals and Procedures compliant with International Standards. 3. Internal Audit Management: • Plan, conduct, report results, and retain records of internal audits. 4. Certification Liaison: • Collaborate with certification bodies to secure QHSE Management Systems certification as Management Representative / Management Appointee. 5. Customer Requirement Awareness: • Promote organizational awareness and alignment with customer requirements. 6. Performance Reporting and Improvement: • Report on management system performance and improvement needs to top management in the role of Management Representative / Management Appointee. Facilitate comprehensive management reviews to ensure suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of QHSE Management systems, Policy, and objectives. 7. Performance Metrics Definition and Collection: • Define, collect, and compile performance metrics for management review purposes. 8. External Communication and Consultation: • Support in handling communication from external stakeholders and offer consultation on QHSE matters to relevant external parties. 9. Document Control and Standards Management: • Ensure implementation and maintenance of documents and records per established procedures. Oversee standards and codes updates and control external document distribution. 10. Corrective/Preventive Actions and Customer Satisfaction: • Review and assess the effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions. Deploy processes for customer satisfaction and complaints resolution. 11. Tendering Support and Compliance: • Compile QHSSE information necessary for tendering related to ship provision, subsea services, diving operations, ROV services, underwater survey, inspection, and repair of offshore & underwater assets. 12. Environmental Support and Program Advisory: • Provide guidance on Environmental Aspect identification, Impact Assessment (HAZID, QRA, HAZOP), and the development of HSE management programs. 13. KPI Monitoring, Risk Management, and Compliance: • Collect, monitor, and analyze KPI data. Identify, analyze, and manage enterprise risks at the Business Unit level. Maintain and update the Enterprise Risk Register, including Key Risk Areas (KRAs). 14. OVMSA/TMSA Implementation and Reviews: • Support the deployment and periodic review of OVMSA/TMSA best practices, coordinating external reviews as needed. 15. Contract Documentation Development: • Develop contract-specific documents such as QAQC plans, ITPs, and KPI monitoring. 16. Adherence to Regulatory Requirements: • Identify and interpret statutory and regulatory requirements in compliance with implemented management systems. Update mechanisms for statutory and regulatory compliance. 17. ESG Reporting Support: • Support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting as per GRI standards. 18. Accreditation Maintenance and Transition: • Ensure continual accreditation by transitioning to revised/amended Management Systems of International Standards. Obtain additional accreditation for required standards like ISO 50001, ISO 14064, etc. 19. QHSSE Support for Operations: • Provide comprehensive QHSSE support throughout the tendering process and during contract/project execution for provision of ships, diving operations, subsea services, ROV operations, underwater survey & inspections, repair, and maintenance of underwater assets & offshore assets. 20. Industry Standards Application and Implementation: • Support the interpretation and application of Industry standards (IMO, IMCA, OCIMF, IOGP & IADC) in business processes for client deliverables. 21. People Management • Lead and manage all employees in the department. • Drive performance in the department, using the tools available, tools like – but not limited to – setting objectives and competencies, regular performance meetings including feedback, coaching and development. • Drive engagement in the department to enable enhanced performance. 22. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering / mechanical engineering • IRCA approved Lead Auditor Qualifications for the standards IS 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018
Professional Experience: • 8 -10 years of experience in implementation and maintenance of QHSSE Management systems in line with international standards ISO 9001:2015; ISO 29001:2020; ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2015 in the capacity of Management Representative. • 3 to 5 years of experience in auditing of QHSE Management Systems in marine environment includes variety of ships. • 3 to 5 years of experience compiling QHSSE packs for tender submissions • Implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Risk Registers and KRAs • ESG data management for GRI reporting includes entire fleet of vessels. • Developing QAQC Plans, HSE plans for provision of vessels, Air & SAT Diving services & ROV services and other underwater and Top side related offshore projects. • Interpretation and application of applicable Statutory & Regulatory requirements, Standards & Codes requirements in marine business process to ensure compliance with these requirements. • Experience in aligning the requirements of the ISO standards and the ISM Code for implementation and maintenance of Integrated Management System (IMS)
Geographic Experience: A plus
Computer Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office & Oracle Fusion
Language Skills: Business fluent English
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge: • Good knowledge of vessel operations, administration and inspection activities. • Good knowledge of industry standards such as OCIMF / IMCA / IADC standards & Guidelines • Awareness on ISO 29001:2020, ISM Code, ISPS and MLC requirements • Awareness on Enterprise Risk Management implementation • Awareness on Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) requirements in line with GRI standards • Awareness on OVMSA / TMSA requirements • Good knowledge in developing and implementation of Energy Management System (ISO 50001:2018) in Ship Management
