As the Project Manager for shutdown projects in the oil and gas field, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure project success while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse project team, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery within established timelines and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project progress, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence among project team members to drive successful project outcomes.

 
Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (08-10 years) managing shutdown projects in the oil and gas industry, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project risks and challenges.
  • UAE experience, driving licenses , particularly ADNOC Projects will be an added advantage.
