ENOWA aims to establish itself as the world’s most advanced renewable energy hub and the first large-scale fully renewable energy system. The energy sector’s primary goals include:

- Developing clean energy-intensive industries, such as green hydrogen production and brine processing, powered by low-cost renewable energy.
ENOWA plans to utilize various technologies, including large-scale solar PV, wind power, pump hydro-station, geothermal energy, and clean-fuel gas turbines – as an integrated decentralized solution to meet the increased electricity demands due to a high degree of electrification.
The candidate will work on projects involving these technologies and various execution strategies, with construction starting in August 2024 and continuing through 2030.

Expectations:
The HSE Lead will be responsible to ensure contractual coordination and alignment with NEOM and project-specific HSE requirements, policies, management plans and procedures.
Approach (Roles & Responsibilities):
- The resource will contribute to the provision of safety advice to line Management and to the monitoring and assurance of activities’ compliance with applicable KSA legislation and NEOM policies and procedures.
- The resource will support the project manager and give assurance that the Contractor is meeting all the requirements of the NEOM HSE MS.
- The resource shall ensure all contractor field HSE personnel are competent and are effective in their duties on site.
Desired Outcomes/Outputs:
- Successful contractual coordination and alignment with NEOM and project-specific HSE requirements, policies, management plans and procedure, minimization of non-compliances.
- Review and improvement of contractors HSE documents and plans.
- Contribution to continuous improvement on environmental compliance and appropriate interface with the other relevant functions across the projects assigned.
- Stakeholders satisfaction in the quality and timeliness of the advice and support provided as well as of the support on compliance monitoring.
- Thorough and high-quality contribution to incident investigation as and when required.
Experience and Skills:
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification in Health and Safety Management, with an engineering background and recognized membership of professional bodies.
- At least 10 Years of experience in similar positions, preferably on large scale projects.
