Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and initiation of complex infrastructure projects, defining objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, resource allocation, and budget requirements.
- Build and lead a high-performing project team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure project success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their needs.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Efficiently allocate resources to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
- Implement robust quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards in both infrastructure and housing projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold project quality.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the successful delivery of projects.
- Proactively address challenges to prevent project delays or budget overruns.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved according to the project plan.
- Implement effective scheduling and resource allocation to maximize project efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Provide regular and transparent project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and financial summaries.
- Maintain meticulous project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
- Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices.
- Knowledge of construction software and project management tools.
