Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the planning and initiation of complex infrastructure projects, defining objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, resource allocation, and budget requirements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing project team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure project success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Efficiently allocate resources to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
  • Implement robust quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards in both infrastructure and housing projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold project quality.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the successful delivery of projects.
  • Proactively address challenges to prevent project delays or budget overruns.
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved according to the project plan.
  • Implement effective scheduling and resource allocation to maximize project efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
  • Provide regular and transparent project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and financial summaries.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices.
  • Knowledge of construction software and project management tools.
