Job Purpose
Perform technical and accounting work related to production accounting and lost production analysis and contribute towards analytical studies in cooperation with multiple assets and departments to support Operations objectives.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s) – I
- Role requires working with complex production accounting processes in coordination with multiple internal groups, ventures, and third parties.
- Work is highly analytical and often performed under time pressure to issue daily production reports that provide accurate accounting of mismeasurements and incidents affecting company production figures.
Key Job Accountabilities – I
Maintain production accounting systems for all company assets and make necessary modifications to generate accurate and timely reports.
Administer the Meridium Lost Production Events module to ensure 100% availability of the system; control user access accounts and support processing of operational efficiency reports for concerned assets.
Maintain detailed database of plant events, issue reports to Operations management, and support Reliability Division investigations to ensure overall accurate production reporting.
Prepare detailed daily reports outlining production details and descriptions of plant events including trips, slowdowns, equipment failures, and storage and loading operations.
Monitor and track inventory levels of stored products and ensure the models and scheduling tools used by the business scheduling department are updated.
Key Job Accountabilities – II
Review the monthly reconciled production and gas movement data reports provided by Commercial and Shipping (C&S) for data quality confirmation.
Assist with metering mismeasurements reports and promptly investigate and coordinate auditors’ queries related to fiscal measurement, operations production reporting, various gas/product movements, and analysis of plant events for all company operated facilities.
Prepare monthly accounting data reports covering inter-venture utility transfer and consumption after review and approval by supervisors and respective asset managers.
Provide technical explanations and supporting documentation to answer queries related to plant upsets, measurements, flaring, equipment breakdowns and review production reports from ventures to provide feedback to Commercial Planning department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
Knowledge and/or Experience – I
6 years’ experience in process operations accounting in the Oil or Gas Processing industry.
