This role is responsible for developing products for the Aviation Air Cargo practice under the direction of the Practice Heads. Product Managers will be the most knowledgeable about their product in the Practice. The Product Manager will act as Subject Matter Expert in sales situations to discuss details of their products and how they create value for clients. The role should support practice development, lead sales efforts for our products and hold end-to-end responsibility of sales for products

Responsibilities

  • Developing the product strategy and roadmap
  • Designing, developing and managing activities from product definition planning to production and release
  •  as required
  • Managing prioritisation and trade-offs between customer experience, businessimpact, performance, and post-launch support
  • Working cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely
  •  and quality release of product/ enhancements
  • Analysing product performance and redesigning

Key Requirements

  •  You have a strong background in software engineering as well as prior experience in product management
  •  Should have strong work experience in the domain of Logistics and International cargo operations, specifically in Cargo Commercial, Revenue Management, Ground Handling and Revenue Accounting.
  •  You have prior experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle
  •  A project management certification (eg. PMP) would be a plus
  •  You possess strong problem solving and prioritisation skills
  •  You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  •  You can work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Excellent verbal; written; presentation; facilitation; communication; relationship building and skills
  • Excellent client presence and proven client relationship building capability; willing to provide senior / top level client references
  • Experience in working with large distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment, preferably involving an onshore/offshore model is highly desirable. 
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and ambiguous  environment
  • Depth to support practice methodology, growth and mentor affiliated team members
  • Qualified to degree level or professional equivalent is required; M.B.A. or Master’s in a relevant discipline from a top university strongly preferred 

Location / Travel:

Extensive travel (domestic or international) is required
