Strategic/Relational:

– Manage & deliver a professional Procurement service, consistently and fairly, in line with the corporate policies and the encourages a climate of openness, trust ,empowerment, integrity and reliability

– Develop or participate in developing Procurement Policies and procedures, and ensure continuous improvement of the same

– Promote utilizing advanced technology to optimize/automate conduction of procurement activities

-Develop or participate in developing departmental staffing plans

– Identify and implement category market research plans, demand challenge, Vendor base rationalization & supply chain risk management

– Implement advanced procurement techniques (Just I time, agility, feasibility, efficiency, effectiveness & waste-elimination activities)

-Work closely with different stakeholders to plan, streamline & enhance process workflows to ensure values for ADIB

– Undertake Suppliers relationship management responsibilities (Contractual, relational and reputational matters) and promote a transparent and ethical procurement approach for ADIB externally

-Conduct benchmarking against global best practice, identify gap and make changes to VMCP offer to stakeholders

Functional:

– Leads a complete end to end Procurement services for assigned spend categories (FM, Projects, Administration, General Services)

– Understand, discuss, and challenge Procurement requirements

with requester to ensure legitimacy, comprehensiveness, clearness and advice on best approach

– Manage and facilitate best practices in the procurement of services necessary for the effective and efficient operations of ADIB

– Conduct procurement activities with the highest level of customer services, ethical standards, fairness, transparency and always operate in a responsive and a responsible way

– Develop standardized Projects Procurement Strategy for ADIB

-Develop ADIB standard templates for Instruction to Tenderers and Contracts Conditions and ensure continuous improvement of the same.

– Participate in identifying the standardized Tender Technical Evaluation Criteria for technical, evaluation of consultants and contractors

– Review & Manage Tenders/RFPs

– Support the category buyers in high-risk high-value procurement engagements (strategy planning, negotiations, risk managements, etc.)

– Report administrative, contractual and tender related risks and develop mitigation plans.

-Ensure the Development and maintenance of updated records of tendering for future reference and decision making.

-Coordinate Audit Requirements, discuss finding s and implement agreed solutions
