General Purpose of Role:

Work with buyers, engineering, planning, project controls, construction, HSE and quality to ensure purchase order requirements are understood and complied with by the supplier. Establish formal and informal communications with assigned suppliers to enable timely, accurate and forward-looking analysis of supplier’s progress at meeting interim delivery schedules of supplier data, manufacturing milestones, material deliveries, testing activities and material and equipment delivery.

Global Level Summary:

Performing relatively routine tasks using basic knowledge of the principles and practices within a professional discipline acquired through extensive academic preparation.

Decision Making:

Under direct supervision, work is routine and instructions are typically detailed.

Supervision Received:

Works under close supervision and technical guidance with regular daily interaction with supervisor. Duties directly assigned weekly. Work is reviewed daily to weekly for accuracy, adequacy, and conformance with prescribed procedures.

Supervision Authority:

Communication:

Basic understanding of systems, processes and tools specifically related to field.

Typical Qualifications:

University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically has little or no practical experience.
