Essential Responsibilities and Duties

 

1.Reviews and analyses proposed and existing Hospital policies and/or procedures.

2.Assists in the planning and organizing of the analysis and evaluation of all valid Hospital policies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

3.Assists in the periodic systematic review of Hospital policies and/or procedures.

4.Assists in the development of Hospital new policies and procedures, recommends revision to existing Hospital policies and/or procedures.

5.Assists in the development of an integrated policy system involving archival, tracking, review, research, monitoring and evaluation for the Hospital Charter, Bylaws, Administrative Policies and/or Procedures (APPs), Manuals, and other policy documents.

6.Assists with the maintenance of the archival and retrieval of all Hospital policies.

7.Monitors all policy related issues to ascertain need and validity of all Hospital policies in meeting organizational needs and to ensure conformity, efficiency and effectiveness.

8.Assists in the interpretation and proper application of all Hospital policies and procedures.

9.Assists in the development of study plan or statement of objectives for assigned projects. Researches and gathers data; and prepares and submits reports as required.

10.Coordinates duties / activities and maintains an effective flow of information within the department.

11.Maintains knowledge on current trends in specialty and makes recommendations for improvement. Assists in the development of recommendations enhancing Hospital operations and effectiveness. Lends technical support to other departments as required.

12.Participates in the development of the department Internal Policies and/or Procedures (IPPs).

13.Participates in studies and assists in the development of plans as requested and provides input related to area of specialty.

14.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

15.Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.

16.Performs other related duties, as assigned.

 

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, or other related discipline is required.

Experience Required

 

Grade 09:

One (1) year of related experience withMaster’s, or three (3) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

 

Grade 10:

Three (3) years of related experience with Master’s,or five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree, including two (2) years of (Grade 09)experience is required.
