Job Purpose:

 

Efficient planning of resources (materials, manpower, equipment) for plant turnaround activities utilizing SAP, Primavera tools etc. and contribute in optimization of TA event duration and budget within the allowable limits.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  1. Compile job list received from plant operations, review job scope as per the TA job list, scope challenge and coordinate with respective end users for any scope clarifications and creation of PM06 work orders charging to TA WBS element for all TA jobs as per the final job list including general requirements.
  2. Materials evaluation based on the reference documents like equipment drawing, mark-up P&ID’s, PFD’s, Isometric drawings and site visits at equipment location. Challenge materials requirements against defined TA job scope and reserve/ order materials ensuring the materials delivery for proper job execution.  Checks warehouse stock data for materials requirement & reserve the required materials for stock items. Create direct purchase requests for non-stock items.
  3. Creation of all service PR’s considering the budget availability in line with contracting strategy, technical evaluation.
  4. Study, prepare, review, and create turnaround schedules including detailed sequence, duration, required resources and critical path.
  5. Integrate multiple schedules into a master turnaround schedule, base lining, performance measurement baseline schedule performance index.
  6. Develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules of turnaround.
  7. Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports, milestone charts, and primavera tool used to support critical path analysis.
  8. Identify major milestones, critical points, and other important turnaround events.
  9. Prepare detailed activities for individual job in the Primavera software with all necessary information as per the job list and update the comments provided by the end users after job cards review.  Develop detailed activities (Level-5) bar chart schedule for TA jobs within the operation outage window and review with all concerned discipline. Alignment/ Interface of contractor, E&PM project schedules and finalization with optimum duration, resources
  10. Prepare TA closure reports with all related documents, Critique reports. Follow up for invoices and process service entry for services, create amendment PR’s, clear committed cost, and update TA history.

 

Requirements:  

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

+5 years of Turnaround planning experience in the industry
